Download the Cluster Manager
For enterprise customers who have multiple instances of eFax Router (for redundancy or to keep up with high fax volume), instead of having to log into each server/VM to manage that specific installation of the router, you can install the eFax Router > Cluster Manager, a new desktop application, where you can view and manage all your router installations from one quick, easy interface.
Permissions
As a Cluster Manager administrator, you must have Windows Service security privileges permitting you to install eFax Router on your server. In most cases, this means membership in the server’s LocalAdmins user group. (Contact your network administrator for assistance.)
Prerequisites
- An eFax Enterprise Application ID and API Secret. (This needs to be set up with your account manager prior to beginning this installation.)
- A 64-bit executable file to download and begin using the application (available through this download page).
- At least one working eFax router. See the eFax Router Administrator’s Guide for instructions on setting up an eFax Router instance.
Download Notes for the Cluster Manager!
It’s highly recommended that you install the Cluster Manager app on a small, separate VM server dedicated to your routers—that is, one that doesn’t also serve other applications/websites/ intranets conducive for your business, as some of the eFax Router features may affect their availability. For instance, should you need to reboot a router, not only will Cluster Manager be briefly unavailable for a few seconds but so will any other systems on that server.
System Requirements
Cluster Manager runs on Windows 10 and MacOS computers.
